Apple iTunes HD MoviesThere is a good news for iPhone and iPod owners. Apple has expanded its iTunes store to include HD movies available for downloads. The company will be selling HD movies as well as renting them within 30 days of releases. Prior to this, the HD movies were available only for rent. The company will be using same price system as its standard movies. The new HD titles will cost $19.95 for HD purchase, while rentals will cost $4.95. Apple has launched a separate HD page on iTunes, featuring about a dozen titles available such as Transporter 3, The Spirit, and The Punisher: War Zone. And the company says more are in the offing like Quantum of Solace. The HD movies can be played on a Mac, PC and on widescreen TV with Apple TV, as well as in standard definition on the iPhone or iPod with video.
