AT&T has launched Nokia E71x smartphone to the U.S. market. The sleek and thin smartphone comes at a very attractive price of $99 with a two-year contract and rebates. The cellphone runs on Symbian S60 3.2 which is capable of handling messaging, multimedia, voice services, and Web browsing very effortlessly.

The phone boasts of a powerful 3.2-megapixel camera which can be used for live video streaming. The display consists of a 2.4-inch screen (4.4"X2.2"0.4"). Sprint 4G Is Here Forget About 3G

Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) has launched its CDMA mobile services with the brand name of MTS in Chennai, India. SSTL is a joint venture between Sistema of Russia and Shyam group of India with the former having 73.71% in the joint venture.

MTS India is planning an aggressive expansion which include launching mobile services all over the country starting with covering 560 cities and towns in Tamil Nadu within a month. MTS will be start offering its services in Kerala by next week followed by West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.

To counter the competition the company has come up with some very attractive schemes.
For one, the company is offering one million minutes ( you got it right 1,000,000 minutes) of free talk time to its customers with a limit of 150 minutes usage everyday.

This weekend Apple may well have discontinued selling its iPhone Bluetooth Headset. This may be indication of two things.
