LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) Cellphone Officially Announced, Specs And Video

The most awaited cellphone from LG, Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) has finally been officially announced and going by specs you can say that it is the smartest mobile phone ever from the company. LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) comes packed with high end features that will leave you gasping for breath.


Most of the mobile companies today are working to put as many high end features as possible in their latest products. And camera is one of the feature the companies are working most on. But still a mobile phone camera has not been able to come at par with a digital camera. Many cellphones have tried to bridge the gap like increasing megapixel muscle like Samsung S8300 UltraTouch, Samsung Pixon M8800. LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) too is a commendable effort from LG in this arena. The handset has a 8 megapixel camera. The camera features an Intelligent Shot Mode that makes it easy to take great pictures by automatically analyzing scenes and adjusting camera settings accordingly. Multi-Face Detection, multiple shooting modes and more features bring it parallel to a standalone digital camera.

LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) has a 3" WVGA touchscreen with a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels and DVD quality video recorder. The phone supports A-GPS based geotagging so that your friends can see the exact location where a photo was taken. The new baby from LG boasts of 7.2 Mbps HSDPA network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. So far as storage goes, the cellphone has a lot of room for all your media files. Viewty Smart has 1.5 GB of on-board memory and also supports MicroSD cards up to 32 GB.

LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) comes with the spectacular 3D S-Class UI that makes maneuvering many controls on the phone a breeze. For instance, an on-screen dial instantly switches shot modes and a thumbnail viewer that shows recently taken photos without having to switch to the photo gallery. There is a very nifty way to zoom in and out. To zoom in, simply move your finger in a clockwise circle on the touchscreen and to zoom out, move the finger in the opposite direction. The same is also possible with multi-touch pinching and stretching. Its 12.4mm thin body make it hard to believe that the cellphone has so many features.

LG Viewty Smart (LG-GC900) is all ready to hit store shelves in Europe in May and the expectations are that it will leave its predecessor (original Viewty, which has sold 6.5 million units) far behind.
