Sony Ericsson has unveiled its latest offering Idou which is dubbed as the new milestone for the company. This is the first cellphone under the Entertainment Unlimited umbrella that the company is supposed to push further. Entertainment Unlimited builds on the strength of entertainment products like Walkman and Cyber-shot phones and has at its core the concept of giving consumers unlimited opportunities to share their entertainment experiences

Idou marries the communication and entertainment package and comes with music, imaging, gaming, content services, and applications. The new cellphone is supposed to have the best from the company till date and to some extent will outpace the Xperia X1 smartphone. This latest cellphone from the company sports 12.1 megapixel camera, very advance features and Xenon flash. The display consists of a 3.5-inch touchscreen, able to provide a 360 × 640 pixel resolution. What is more, the phone has full-touch media menu and true 16:9 widescreen format for movies and video clips. Sony Ericsson Idou also includes GPRS Class 10, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b / g capabilities. The phone is expected to be available by the later half of 2009.
