Nokia E75 Mobile Phone Comes To Stores

Nokia E75, the smartphone from the Finnish cellphone maker has finally arrived at stores. The handset targeted at enterprise and corporate users was announced last February. The features of this mobile phone speak loudly that it will directly compete with BlackBerry phones in open market.

The most significant feature that stands out of the plethora of other specs and applications is its new email user interface which claims to offer the email functionality comparable to that of desktop with full integration of e-mail and messaging. With features like one-click reply, subfolders, HTML support and the ability to open attachments the Nokia E75 is bound to draw attention.

The integration of Nokia Messaging makes the email setup a breeze. For the starters, Nokia Messaging is a service that can open mailboxes from most popular email service providers like Yahoo Mail, Google Gmail and Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail. Moreover there is support for Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. To make writing email a no brainer, E75 has a QWERTY slider keyboard.

As for other specs, the phone has 2.4 inch display with 3.2-megapixel camera with red-eye reduction, LED flash and eight-times digital zoom. There is 5 MB of internal dynamic memory and a microSD slot for 16 GB more. The phone has the Nokia Maps A-GPS navigation application, music and media players, an FM radio and Bluetooth 2.0. E75 supports supports GSM and WCDMA connectivity. This device also comes with Nokia's games service N-Gage which is supported for the first time in a Nokia Eseries device.

One more thing that is becoming more and more visible in Nokia's new devices is the Ovi compatibility. The company is very optimistic about Ovi Store set to open in May. Ovi will offer applications, location-based services and also integrate social-networking features. Nokia E75 ships with Ovi files which can be used for sharing files online. The phone is launched with a price tag of $530 in North America with red and black as color options.
